EXCITING NEWS!!!!
Climate Challenge Cymru Competition
We were shortlisted for a prize in the Climate Challenge Cymru awards. The award ceremony Was held in the Pierhead Building, Cardiff Bay on 11th July
WE WON the Sustrans challenge for active travel!!!!!
We counted our ACTIVE journeys to school. We are not a very active school in the mornings! We took part in the Sustrans big walk and wheel and we used our data to make graphs about how much we improved during the two weeks. We also had a new gate fitted to make walking to school safer and we asked the parents to turn off their engines in the school carpark to make our air cleaner. All of these steps will help to make us healthier and more ready to learn each day.

Our School Council work on our Eco Schools Status throughout the year. In our classes we cover topics that help us to become more aware of the world around us and how we use precious resources. We learn about healthy eating and exercise and how to look after our school grounds.
